I've only travelled with her twice I think.
The first time was a disaster! The story goes - we were in Bangkok (it was 2005 I think), and she didn't bring any Thai Baht - while I did. And well, she commissioned me to follow her wherever she went (at a Mall's department store) so that I would be her wallet. Imagine - I couldn't go shopping on my own - why? Because I had to follow her like a dog to all the stalls that she wanted!
Then when we finally went to a Shu Uemura counter - she bought her stuffs and I did too! BUT I still had to pay for everything. Well, she said that she would pay me back. But the point was - it was very inconsiderate for her right? When will I have the time to shop? None!
So when it was time to pay up - I rounded off the amount and accidentally included the Shu Uemura eyelash curler that I got for myself. I absent mindedly included it to her bill and you know what she did? Well, she kept on repeating that it was MY purchase and not hers. To think the item was just P750.00 converted! Ano ba naman iyong iregalo na niya sa akin yun sa abala na ginawa niya sa akin diba? Yung oras ko para makapag shopping, ay nawala and instead I had to follow her around and be her ATM machine.
Yan ba ang Mother In Law?
